The Constitutional Court abolished a law prohibiting the use of symbols from the fascist and communist authoritarian regimes of the XX. century. The jurors found that the law endangers citizens’ right to legal security and freedom of speech. The law was introduced on grounds that such symbols may violate the dignity of citizens who were subjected to ill treatment during these periods in history.
