Magyar Telekom small shareholders take AGM case to Supreme Court

Magyar Telekom on Tuesday said small shareholders filed a request for judicial review of a ruling by the Budapest Metropolitan Court of Appeal rejecting their suit brought to invalidate decisions approved at an AGM on April 7, 2010.
The shareholders are requesting that the Supreme Court annul the ruling by the Metropolitan Court of Appeal.
"[Magyar Telekom] believes that the request for judicial review is unfounded," the company said. "The Company will take all necessary actions to defend against the request in the judicial review procedure," it added.
