Appellate court rejects lender's contract defense
The Budapest Municipal Court of Appeals on Tuesday upheld a first-instance ruling rejecting Lombard Pénzügyi és Lízing Zrt's defense of unilateral changes it made to contracts.
The bank is one of many lenders to appeal decisions on their defense of the changes made to retail loan contracts which were defined as unfair in legislation approved in the summer.
