PM: Construction sector, taxation system to be reorganized

Interview

In a half year’s time, radical changes would be made to the regulations of the construction sector and the taxation system, Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said this morning in his regular fortnightly interview with state-owned Kossuth rádió.

These two areas will be restructured in order to decrease bureaucracy and simplify and speed up the administrative process,  the prime minister said. Orbán noted, however, that the amount of taxes would not changed, only the administratio would become more streamlined.

Apart from reiterating his views shared with daily Napi Gazdaság in an interview on Wednesday, the prime minister said that there would be another national consultation this fall on a topic that has not yet been made public.
