Government sees press coverage improving
Hungary’s press coverage in the international press has continued to improve over the course of the last year, state secretary in charge of foreign media relations Ferenc Kumin said citing a report by the Nézőpont Intézet political think tank. Kumin said international interest remains high towards Hungarian events, but the various outlets now adopt a different angle and are less critical of the country than they were a year ago and are now more focused on how the favorable changes in 2012 were achieved, Kumin said. The report was compiled based on 3,659 articles published about Hungary in various countries.
