The discussion aims to highlight both theoretical and more practical considerations of the Euro-Atlantic integration structures with the Western Balkan countries.
Montenegro joined NATO in 2017 and, together with Serbia, is working on a reform agenda that could bring them into the EU. Multiple questions will be discussed, such as "How can these integration structures contribute to security and stability in the region?" and "Will they really establish a security and/or value community in the region and strengthen confidence among these countries?"
The discussion will take place on Tuesday, May 14, from 10.30 a.m. at the KKI building at Bérc utca 13-15 in District 1. The event is public, but prior registration is required by noon today, May 13, on the KKI website. The language of the event is English.
