EBRD, ProCredit Bank support SMEs in Serbia
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said it is boosting small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Serbia with a EUR 30 million loan to ProCredit Bank.
The loan will improve the availability of funding for SMEs and support their post-pandemic recovery, along with investments in new equipment, facilities and operations.
Around 20% of the credit line will go to investments that can improve energy efficiency or investments in renewable energy.
The ProCredit Group, headquartered in Frankfurt, is a development-oriented, international commercial bank, active in many of the economies where the EBRD invests.
