Bulgaria gave the green light to four new investment projects worth over BGN 75 million (EUR 38.3 million) in total, which will create 416 jobs, the Innovation Ministry said.

Among the investments approved by the government's InvestBulgaria Agency is a BGN 38 million project to build a factory for electric bicycles in Bulgaria's second-largest city of Plovdiv, with 330 new jobs, the ministry said.

The other investments include BGN 10 million for the construction of a medical and spa complex in Strelcha, south-central Bulgaria, which will create over 75 jobs; BGN 4 million for a logistics base for warehousing and storage of third-party cargo near Sofia, and over BGN 23 million for the construction of a beverage can production line, building and additional equipment in Blagoevgrad, southwestern Bulgaria.

The plant will be built by Carlsberg Bulgaria, a press official at the ministry told news portal SeeNews.
