Russia and Hungary seeking further cooperation
A third meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Hungarian economic cooperation commission will be held in Budapest on September 17, 2007, the Russian trade representation in the Republic of Hungary said in a statement.
The Russian delegation will be headed by IT and Communications Minister Leonid Reyman, and the Hungarian one by Economy and Transportation Minister János Kóka. The commission meeting will also be attended by state officials of both countries. The agenda includes discussions on the prospects of trade and economic cooperation in the area of information technology, innovation, energy, industry, transportation, construction, agriculture, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, banking and finance, environmental protection, as well as regional and military-and-technical relations. Following the meeting, Reyman and Kóka expect to sign minutes stipulating short-term objectives and the key areas of cooperation in specific sectors.
During his visit to Budapest, Reyman is also expected to meet with the Hungarian Prime Minister. (rbcnews.com)
