A meeting at which Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and National Economy Minister György Matolcsy will present the 2012 budget draft to the heads of the parliamentary group of governing Fidesz-KDNP started in the afternoon on Tuesday.

Orbán and Matolcsy arrived at the office building used by MPs near Parliament a little after 3pm. Neither spoke to journalists.

Fidesz parliamentary group leader János Lázár said MPs support what they know of the 2012 budget so far, answering a question. It is certain that changes are expected before the draft is approved in December, he added.

Lázár and the prime minister's spokesman Péter Szijjártó will hold a joint press conference after the meeting.
