Mol officials meet with Indian oil and gas minister

Top officials of Hungarian oil and gas company Mol Nyrt on Monday met with Indian Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Murli Deora in New Delhi.
The officials, who were part of a delegation led by Hungarian Foreign Minister Kinga Göncz, discussed the potential role of Mol in exploration and extraction in India. They also met with other industry leaders.
Göncz held talks with other Indian officials, reaching an agreement for the Indian-Hungarian Economic Committee to meet in January. She also confirmed Hungary's support for India's bid to become a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
In addition to the energy industry, Göncz's delegation held talks on establishing closer ties between the two countries in the IT and pharmaceutical industries. The delegation will next travel to Pakistan.
