DK: Orbán lied according to Brussels
Despite Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Friday that Hungarian highway M0 needs to have a toll on it due to EU regulation, Brussels on press query said that “the European Commission posed no obligation on Hungary in connection with the planned toll on M0 ringroad”, Hungarian daily news portal atv.hu reported, citing opposition Democratic Coalition’s (DK) statement.
“The prime minister was caught lying less than 48 hours after requiring more request from the European Union” DK’s statement adds. DK believes that Orbán’s behavior puts a negative image on Hungary and urges the prime minister “to stop lying”, adding that the prime minister “should show more respect towards Hungary citizens.
DK believes that holding early elections is the only way out of “Orbán’s system”.
