Chinese-Hungarian business council established

Hungarian business association VOSZ and the Chinese Foreign Trade Development Council on Tuesday agreed to establish the Chinese-Hungarian Business Council to foster bilateral business ties, VOSZ said.
VOSZ managing director Sándor Demján and Chinese Foreign Trade Development Council head Wan Jifei signed a declaration of understanding on establishing the bilateral business council in the presence of Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao on June 25, during an official visit by the premier and his delegation to Hungary, VOSZ said.
The heads of VOSZ and the Chinese Foreign Trade Development Council have decided Hainan Group chairman Chen Feng will be the Chinese co-chairman of the Chinese-Hungarian Business Council. OTP Bank chairman-CEO Sándor Csányi will be asked to be the council's Hungarian co-chairman.
