German engineering giant Bosch on Thursday inaugurated a €20m automotive technology plant at its base in Miskolc (NE Hungary).

The 23,000sqm plant was inaugurated by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Bosch board member Wolf-Henning Scheider.

Orbán said the plant was a sign of German investors' confidence in Hungary.

Bosch plans to raise headcount at its base in Miskolc from 1,900 to 3,000 in the coming three years as a result of the investment.
