Szijjártó: Hungary is committed to Albania’s integration

Hungary is committed to supporting the process of Albaniaʼs integration, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said today, following talks with Albanian Minister of Economy Milva Ekonomi in Ningbo, China, according to Hungarian news agency MTI .

Albania has expressed a strong interest in involving Hungarian companies in water management, infrastructure and energy investments, Szijjártó said, according to MTI.

Both ministers welcomed the launch of a direct flight between Budapest and Tirana from the end of this year, Szijjártó’s ministry said in connection with the talks.

The meeting between Szijjártó and Ekonomi took place in the framework of the China-CEEC Trade and Investment Expo, which is currently taking place in Ningbo and will end on June 12.
