The government is taking measures to establish a competitive investment environment in Hungary in view of achieving its goal of transforming the country into a European production center, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó said at a meeting of the Swiss-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce in Budapest on Tuesday. Szijjártó said that the year 2013 will signify a turnabout in terms of economic growth in Hungary. Growth will be the result of the expansion of consumption stemming from strengthening families, the promotion of increased activity abroad of Hungarian companies and the government’s system of strategic-partnership agreements, he said.
