Tisza-TK Projekt’s investment expected to create 550 jobs

Hungary’s Tisza-TK Projekt is constructing a €145 mln grain-processing plant in Tiszapüspöki, central Hungary, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said at a press conference today.

The HUF 45 bln investment is being supported with a HUF 9.2 bln grant from the Hungarian government, with Hungarian Eximbank providing the firm with a long-term loan, the foreign minister added.

The investment is expected to create 550 jobs, Hungarian news agency MTI said, adding that the plant will process 530,000 tons of corn a year, exporting 70% of its output.
