Szijjártó: Hungary to build two motorways to Slovak border by 2020

Hungary is planning to build two motorways leading to the Slovak border by 2020, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said in Bratislava yesterday following talks with Slovak Deputy Prime Minister Lubomir Vazny. The projects are expected to be part of the Miskolc-Kosice and Rajka-Bratislava motorways, Szijjártó added.
Both parties agreed to give a boost to the two countries' most ambitious joint development program of all time; this includes plans to open 25 new border crossings, in addition to the existing 25. Hungary shares the longest border section (679 kms) out of the six other neighboring countries.
The two politicians met before a foreign ministers' meeting of the Visegrád Four and Western Balkans countries.
