State secretary opens Hungarian trading house in Moscow

Government commissioner in charge of Hungarian-Russian economic relations Péter Szijjártó on Monday opened a Hungarian trading house in Moscow, established by the Hungarian government in partnership with the Quaestor Group. The trading house comprises a business and investment centre and a logistic base. Its operations include investment mediation, business consulting and trade and tourism activity. Before opening the trading house, Szijjártó held talks with the management of Russia's biggest food retail chain Magnit. Hungary and Russia's bilateral trade came to $11.6 billion in 2012. Hungary had a $5 billion trade deficit with energy-rich Russia.
