Orbán’s Facebook post condemned by Romania

Int’l Relations

In a Facebook post yesterday, the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its concerns about Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s Facebook post from Saturday, which included a picture of revisionist symbols, such as pins of the Székely flag and the old kingdom of Hungary.

Shown is one of the photos from Orbán Viktorʼs Facebook page.

The Romanian ministry’s statement said that as long as Hungary cannot prove beyond a doubt that it is willing to comply with the stipulations of the treaty signed by the two countries, the relationship between Romania and Hungary will not become truly balanced nor can it be built on a foundation of mutual trust.
