Hungary, Jordan discuss trade

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met with Jordanian House Speaker Atef Tarawneh in Budapest yesterday, the PM's press chief informed Hungarian news agency MTI.
The two men discussed the dynamic development of trade ties and the situation in the Middle East, said Bertalan Havasi.
Tarawneh was noted as saying that Hungary is a stable European country and a trade gate to the West for the Arab world. Hungarian exports to Jordan were up about 50% in the first quarter of this year, according to MTI.
