Hungary, Algeria sign economic cooperation agreement
Hungary and Algeria signed an Economic Cooperation Agreement on Tuesday, on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
The agreement was signed by Hungarian Rural Development Minister Sándor Fazekas and his Algerian counterpart Rachid Benaissa. It establishes cooperation between Hungarian and Algerian partners in the areas of irrigation, animal feed, biotechnology and poultry farming.
A Hungarian-Algerian Agriculture Cooperation Agreement was signed in Budapest last September, during a visit by Benaissa, who completed his veterinary studies in Hungary.
