Hungary's exports to Germany reached €20 billion, and German direct capital investments in Hungary topped €20 billion, last year, state secretary of National Economy Ministry, Zoltan Cséfalvay, said at a conference on Thursday in Munich. German direct capital invested in Hungary since 1989 reached €20.8 billion, Cséfalvay said. At the conference, staged on the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Hungary and the Federal Republic of Germany, Cséfalvay said that the €20 billion exports to Germany last year made a quarter of Hungary's total exports, and was equivalent with Hungary's exports to all non-EU markets.
