British, Hungarian foreign ministers to meet on Thursday

British foreign minister Philip Hammond (pictured) is scheduled to visit the Hungarian foreign minister Péter Szijjártó on Thursday on the latter’s invitation, the foreign ministry said early this morning.

On the minister’s agenda is the situation in the Ukraine, the EU’s future and preparations of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), the statement said, adding that the pair may also discuss economic cooperation between the two countries and how to address “migration and the fight against the Islamic State”.

The ministers are expected to give a press conference on Friday morning.
