Mol to raise wholesale fuel prices from Wednesday

Hungarian oil and gas company Mol Rt will raise the wholesale price of 95-octane petrol Ft 8 and the price of diesel Ft 7 per liter from Wednesday, according to industry insiders.
The move is expected to raise the retail price for 95-octane petrol to around Ft 300 per liter, and the retail price of diesel to Ft 290. Prices could vary as much as Ft 15 per liter from station to station.
Analysts said Mol decided to raise prices after a dramatic weakening of the forint against the dollar.
Mol last raised fuel prices a week ago, hiking the wholesale price of petrol Ft 5 and the price of diesel Ft 7.
