Mol to raise fuel prices on Thursday

Hungarian oil and gas company Mol Rt, the country's major fuel distributor, will raise the price of 95-octane petrol by Ft 5 per liter and of diesel by Ft 2 per liter from June 8.

The average retail price of petrol will be Ft 293 a liter and of diesel Ft 275 a liter, but prices are expected to move in a range of Ft 10-Ft 15 forints below or above that. Mol said the fuel price increase was prompted by movements on international foreign exchange markets.
