Hungary 1st in EU to legislate 2050 climate neutrality
Hungary has become the first EU member state to legislate to achieve full climate neutrality by 2050, reports business daily Világgazdaság.
The path to this is determined by the National Clean Development Strategy adopted by the government, said Secretary of State for the Development of the Circular Economy, Energy, and Climate Policy Attila Steiner.
According to the strategy, Hungary will achieve full climate neutrality by 2050 without its implementation jeopardizing economic growth or prosperity.
