Hungarian, Russian farm ministers pledge cooperation
Agricultural ministers Sándor Fazekas of Hungary and Nikolay Fyodorov of Russia agreed after a meeting in Moscow that continued agricultural cooperation is in the mutual interest of the countries, Fazekas told Hungarian news agency MTI yesterday.
Fazekas said that he and Fyodorov had also agreed that sanctions cannot resolve the conflict in Ukraine, which must be settled through negotiation.
The agriculture ministers expressed their common aspiration to increase trade in agricultural goods between Hungary and Russia, and to make progress in all areas of bilateral cooperation, Fazekas added.
