EU Commission to Grant Macro-financial Aid to Moldova
The European Commission will grant Moldova a non-reimbursable financial support of EUR 52 million, the country's Finance Ministry announced on Wednesday.
The financial support will be granted to Moldova under the EU Reform Support program, for the improvement of health policies, governance, civil society, and security, the ministry said cited by news portal SeeNews.
A further EUR 27 million will be granted to support Moldova's economic and environmental resilience.
The two agreements will be signed in the following period by Moldova's Finance Minister Dumitru Budianschi and Lawrence Meredith, director for the EU's Eastern Neighborhood, it said.
