EIB providing EUR 146 mln credit line for pandemic defense
The European Investment Bank (EIB) is providing Hungary with a EUR 146 million credit line to support preparations for a possible fourth wave of the pandemic, the Finance Ministry said, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
The preferential credit may be used for medical equipment, protective gear, and mobile units.
Hungary has spent HUF 1.2 trillion on direct subsidies and pandemic defense, so far, the ministry said.
