EC to Disburse EUR 3 bln in Pre-financing to Romania

Romania's Ministry for Investments and European projects said that the European Commission has authorized the payment of approximately EUR 3 billion in pre-financing under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), according to a report by SeeNews.

The latest tranche includes a non-refundable payment of EUR 2.03 billion and a EUR 907.7 million loan, the ministry said in a press release on Saturday.

Romania's next payment request under the RRF will have a total value of EUR 3.2 billion, of which EUR 2.1 billion is non-refundable financial support and EUR 1.09 billion in the form of a loan.
