EC starts pilot process on gas price regulations

EU

European Union news website Bruxinfo yesterday broke the story that the European Commission in August officially requested information from the Hungarian government regarding regulations on gas prices in the country.

Such a request started an EC pilot process, designed to arbitrate on questions of EU law.

Reportedly, the EC objects to different pricing for households, public institutions and private enterprises for the same natural-gas pipeline.
