Consultations start on 2021-2027 EU funding for businesses

Finance Minister Mihály Varga on Friday announced the start of public consultations on European Union support available for business development in the 2021-2027 funding period, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
In a video message posted on his Facebook page, Varga said the consultations would start on four tenders for a combined HUF 414 billion in support for investments, R+D and training available in the framework of the Business Development and Innovation Operative Program (VINOP).
The tenders will be called in early January and payouts could take place in the summer, he added.
Tenders for more than HUF 2 trillion in EU funding for businesses will be called next year, Varga said.
