Euroventures, Sandor Ando invest HUF 400m in Hungarian Facebook game developer

Euroventures Venture Capital Fund Manager and Sandor Ando have invested a combined HUF 400m in Hungarian content developer THX Games, which is launching a multi-player strategy trivia game on Facebook, THX Games announced.
The injection doubled the company’s capital.
Euroventures director Zoltan Toth said the investment would support the company’s expansion abroad and the introduction of new games.
THX Game’s game Triviador, developed for Facebook, was launched a little more than a month ago, but it is already attracting visits from a monthly 200,000 users, said THX Games chairman Attila Bihari.
THX Games is the creator of the popular game Honfoglalas.
The investment in THX Games was the third for the HUF 7.1bn Euroventures IV Fund. The fund, which is supported by a contribution from the Swiss-Hungarian Cooperation Programme, invests in Hungarian SMEs. The ten-year fund matures at the end of 2013.
