Budapest to host international seed congress

Budapest is scheduled to host the International Seed Federation (ISF) six-day-long world congress in 2017, welcoming approximately 2,000 professionals from around the world, Hungaryʼs Planting Seed Association and Product Council head Géza Takács told Hungarian news agency MTI today.
Hungary has been a member of the international association since 1938, MTI reported. The country is the sixth-biggest exporter of planting seeds in the world, after France, the Netherlands, the United States, Germany and Chile, the news agency added.
