Budapest, Paris to enter bids tomorrow for 2024 Olympic games
Budapest and Paris will enter the race for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games on Tuesday, June 23, channelnewsaisa.com reported.
June 23 is annual Olympic Day, on which France will symbolically proclaim its bid, while the city council of Budapest will also vote to enter on this day.
Other cities in the running for the votes of the International Olympic Committee include Boston, Rome and Hamburg, with Baku and Doha rumored to enter soon.
Official bids must be submitted by September 15 this year, and the final decision will be made at the IOC congress in Lima on September 15, 2017.
