$3.7bn of venture capital, private equity invested in Hungary over two decades

About $3.7bn of venture capital and private equity were invested in Hungary between 1989 and 2010, the Hungarian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HVCA) said on Thursday, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its establishment.

The venture capital and private equity was invested in 420 transactions, HVCA said. Investors have already exited from transactions worth about m, it added.
