Some low-traffic government administration offices will close to clients between November 2 and March 17 of next year to cut back on heating costs, the Prime Minister's Office said on Wednesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

More than 280 government administration offices will remain open to the public during the period, including at least one in each administrative district.

The government earlier ordered a 25% reduction in gas consumption at state institutions as Europe faces a winter energy crisis.
