KSH president picked as ISI council member

Gabriella Vukovich, president of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH), has been chosen by the International Statistical Institute (ISI) as a member of its council, the KSH said today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Vukovich will serve as a council member from 2017 to 2021. The council is in charge of working out the strategic plans and operative programs of the ISI.Â
Elections of ISI officers took place between August 23 and October 4, 2016. Formal approval of the election results by the organizationʼs General Assembly will occur at the World Statistics Congress in Morocco on July 16-21, 2017.
