Interior Min recruiting border hunters
Border hunters are currently being sought at recruitment offices, who are looking for anyone between the ages of 18 and 55 willing to contribute to the defense of Hungary's border, said Parliamentary State Secretary Bence Rétvári of the Ministry of the Interior, according to hrportal.hu.
The range of duties of border hunters is narrower than that of the police, so their training also requires a shorter period.
The basic requirements include the completion of primary education and good physical endurance.
Applicants who meet the requirements will receive a gross salary of HUF 300,000 during the training.
The successful candidates can earn nearly HUF 400,000; the top 10%, who will be able to perform more extreme tasks, can expect even higher salaries, Rétvári said.
Service apartments can also be provided for border hunters.
