Gov't to discuss coordination of development zone strategies

Government

At the end of this month, the government will discuss the strategies for each development zone, which will be based on how to coordinate the development ideas of each region, László Palkovics, the Minister for Innovation and Technology, said on Saturday in Zalaegerszeg (215 km southwest of Budapest), according to leading economic daily Világgazdaság.

After a discussion on development ideas in northwest Hungary and Zalaegerszeg, Palkovics spoke at a press conference about the first development of a long-term development concept in Debrecen (225 km east of Budapest), the implementation of which will be supported by a government decision.

This was also the basis for the idea of how the plans of cities and regions affect each other when thinking in development zones, how it is possible to create common concepts in cooperation, aside from their possible rivalry.
