Brexit Town Hall meeting postponed

Government

The British Embassy’s Town Hall meeting for British citizens living in Hungary, scheduled for this evening, will be postponed to a later date, the embassy has informed the Budapest Business Journal.

"Prime Minister Theresa May announced on 26 February that the House of Commons will hold new votes on Brexit. These will take place no later than 12, 13 and 14 March," the embassy explained.

"We will confirm the new date as soon as possible, but our intention is to hold it soon after the parliamentary votes in London. Hungarian government representatives will be present," it added.
