Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has called a three-day strategic cabinet meeting for the coming week, in Sopron, news agency MTI reports, citing an article by Origo.hu.

Bertalan Havasi, the PM's press chief, told Origo.hu the cabinet meeting, planned for early in the week, would discuss the war in Ukraine and its impact on the economy, along with the European Union's sanctions; Hungary's energy strategy, with a view to countering inflation; rural development strategy; and perspectives of Hungarian science.

Gergely Gulyás, the head of the Prime Minister's Office, will hold a regular press briefing after the meeting, on Thursday, he added.

Orbán will participate at a summit in Brussels scheduled for Thursday and Friday, he said.
