The 14 ministers in the new Hungarian government led by Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai took their oaths of office in Parliament on Monday.
President Laszlo Sólyom appointed the ministers earlier in the day.
The ministers are Péter Oszkó, Finance Minister, Péter Balázs, Foreign Minister, Tibor Draskovics, Justice and Law Enforcement Minister, Ádám Ficsor, minister without portfolio in charge of the civilian secret services, József Gráf, Agriculture and Rural Development Minister, László Herczog, Social Affairs and Labor Minister, István Hiller, Education and Culture Minister, Péter Hónig, Transport, Telecommunication and Energy Minister, Péter Kiss, minister without portfolio in charge of social coordination, Csaba Molnár, head of the Prime Minister's Office, Imre Szabó, Environment and Water Management Minister, Imre Szekeres, Defense Minister, Tamás Székely, Health Minister, Zoltán Varga, Municipal Affairs Minister.
Tamás Váhl withdrew his candidacy for National Development and Economy Minister, and a replacement has yet to be announced. (MTI – Econews)
