Parliament approves 2016 budget

The Hungarian Parliament today approved next yearʼs budget, including the total revenue of HUF 18,500 bln, total expenditures of HUF 16,561 bln, and a deficit 761 bln, with 115 voting in favor and 57 voting against.

Following the vote, the budget bill will be sent to the head of the Fiscal Council, and the council will issue its official opinion. The final vote on the budget is expected to take place next week.
