The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) has launched an investigation into the agreements between the largest domestic pharmaceutical wholesalers and the pharmacy cooperation schemes they have established, as they may restrict competition in the Hungarian pharmaceutical procurement markets, according to profitline.hu.
Providing patients with competitively priced products and the safe distribution of medicine even during an epidemic is a priority; GVH says it intends to contribute to this goal by ensuring undistorted competitive processes in the pharmaceutical sales markets.
