Competition office fines Tesco for misleading advertising
Hungary's Competition Office (GVH) on Wednesday said it fined the local unit of UK supermarket chain Tesco HUF 20 million for misleading advertising. In 2011, Tesco stores advertised steep discounts on gardening equipment without revealing the original prices, GVH said. The equipment was available in stores in limited supply or not stocked at all, it added.
