Agulhas-Solar expands Szolnok solar panel plant

Hungary-based solar panel producer Agulhas-Solar is expanding its plant with the installation of a HUF 320 mln solar panel line in Szolnok, Anikó Pesti, the assistant to the company’s managing director, told Hungarian news agency MTI.

The investment is supported by a HUF 155 mln European Union and state grant, the assistant added. The company started production in Szolnok in 2011 and is currently providing jobs for 60 people. Agulhas-Solar had a revenue of HUF 1.52 bln last year.
