MSzP, Fidesz call for declassifying riot information
Hungary's two largest parties, the governing Hungarian Socialist Party (MSzP) and the opposition Fidesz, are both asking the government to declassify intelligence reports on riots in Budapest, online news portal index.hu reported.
The Socialists reportedly said the information would support the government's claim that rioting was organized by a network of far-right groups that attempted to establish contact with Fidesz. The opposition demands opening the files, as it would prove that accusation wrong, according to the report.
The government classified the reports for 80 years, Magyar Hírlap reported earlier today.
