New tenant agreements signed at BudaPart Gate
So far, 20 domestic and multinational companies have signed lease agreements in the two office buildings of BudaPart, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
Despite the pandemic, several leases and expansion agreements have been signed in BudaPart GATE building in recent months: Novo Nordisk and doTERRA have enlarged their office spaces, and new tenants have also committed to BudaPart, bringing the occupancy to seven full floors in the “LEED Gold” certified office building. The BudaPart GATE Melodin restaurant has opened in the building, and the spring will bring along an application-based grocery store, café, beauty salon and supermarket added to the neighborhood's commercial units. Besides, several services are already available for customers like Príma Baker, “Grajnai the florist” Flower Shop, a Lottery Shop and Greens & Seeds Greengrocer's.
BudaPart CITY, the second office building in the neighborhood, developed by Property Market and under construction by Market Építő Zrt., is progressing according to the schedule. The building will be handed over in the summer of 2021. Bayer Hungaria Kft. was the first client who committed to the building, which offers nearly twenty thousand square meters of office space, and in December 2020 another large international company signed a lease agreement for 2,000 sqm, which increased the occupancy of the new generation office building to almost 30%. The successful lease transactions are handled by the real estate developer and co-exclusive agents, Eston International, and Cushman & Wakefield.
BudaPart offers tenants green surroundings, an inspiring environment, easy accessibility, and a diverse service portfolio in the South Buda submarket. Those tenants who are moving into their offices in the coming months will be able to enjoy a wide range of services, which will be further widened by ice cream store, further restaurants, drugstores and other shops, as well as the Beach&Bar. Later on, a pharmacy, fitness center, kindergarten, sports fields, a GP service, and a pediatrician’s office will also be available.
Employees can pick from a number of transport alternatives: next to BudaPart there is a direct bus and tram stop, a bicycle path, and a boat station at the entrance to the Kopaszi Dam, all of which further strengthen the direct connection between the workplace and both the city center and the center of the district.
“I am very pleased that more and more companies are recognizing the business and leisure benefits of the surrounding. At BudaPart, completely new lifestyle, waterfront environment and community-friendly approach await employees. After working hours, employees also have the opportunity to actively relax: they can run, SUP, yoga or kayak in the Kopaszi Dam and Lágymányosi Bay, moreover they can even have a cocktail on the sandy beach, which will be completed this Summer. In addition, they can manage their most important daily tasks in one place, their children can enjoy the local nursery or kindergarten, and the time saved can be spent with their family and friends," said Mariann Tóth, leasing director of Property Market.
